I just joined this site today and have made a commitment to myself to use the skills that I have acquired over the past few years. I have been attuned to Reiki Master level for a few years but have only used Reiki on my close family and myself.

Not long ago, I met someone and they have since mentioned that they wanted to be attuned to Reiki. Although I am attuned to master level and CAN attune my friend, I have been extremely hesitant. Why the hesitation? What is the fear or block that is holding me back?

Today, I decided to continue my practice of Reiki and will attune this person. After making the decision I was writing down some thoughts that came to me and began to cry...not out of sorrow or pain but of RELEASE. I remembered some things from my past that I had somehow buried deep inside. This in and of itself is a breakthru for me and it is also a confirmation to MOVE ON.

I believe I am going to like it here:-)
