Element Presents at 4th Annual CTI Symposium on Automotive Transmissions & Drive Trains On June 8, 2010, Element Energy's founder and Chief Technology Officer, Eric Macris, presented an invited paper at the Car Training Institute's 4th Annual Symposium on Automotive Transmissions and Drive Trains, which took place in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The symposium has emerged as a leading international technical forum on automotive drive train electrification. Mr. Macris's presentation, entitled "Batteries, Battery Management and Power Electronics in Hybrid and Electric Drive Trains," was part of a day-long session focused on alternative drive train design, which also included presentations from Toyota, Daimler, Getrag and others.
